Call the Midwife star Laura Main has been named as an ambassador for Sentebale, a charity founded by Prince Harry and Prince Seeiso of Lesotho to help vulnerable children in Lesotho get the support they need to lead healthy and productive lives.

Main commented 'I feel very lucky to have had the opportunity to visit Lesotho twice this year and see for myself the important and vital work Sentebale does for vulnerable children living there. I'm so proud to have been asked to be an ambassador and am excited about taking on an official role with the charity, as it moves forward and hopes to roll out this successful programme to more Southern African counties where there is a need'.
